Gmail advertising, which is fairly unobtrusive, compared to Yahoo or
Hotmail, is contextualized. I've noticed in the past that it is often
vaguely related to the subject header or something in the body (content)
or the location of the sender. That's when you're looking at the
messages. But what happens when you're looking at the folders?
Sometimes, the headers contribute the topic--the message headers, that
is, which includes subject, name, email address (particularly the
domain). But this is the first time I've noticed the ad to be related to
the /content/ of the folder:
> Spam Primavera
> - Toss with linguini, serve immediately
> Spam Swiss Pie
> - Bake 45-55 minutes or until eggs are set
> Spam Skillet Casserole
> - Broil until golden
Well, you get the point. It was the Gmail automatically generated Spam
folder.
