BEW, _no doubt_ and _evidently_ are both common catch-terms in BE. At
one time, I thought that the stress-pattern, "eviDINTly," was a black
thang that you wouldn't understand. But, my current impression is the
stress is on "dVnt," whether the V be [E] or [I].
