In 1956, a Ferd Holtmann was on the staff of radio station WSRW in
Hillsboro OH (only 30 or so miles north of KY).

The 1960 directory for Frankfort KY lists
"Holtmann Ferd publicity specialists Ky State Fish & Wildlife Resources
r214 Briar Cliff"

J. Ferd Holtmann's widow (Edna J.) died in Covington KY in Nov 1992.
The obit says that she is survived by a son, Ferd E. Holtmann of Mesa
AZ.

Directories as recent as 1997 list him as still there. I can provide
that contact info off-list for anyone who cares (although it may not be
current).

In 1993 he married Lynda L. Schaidt, of Florida.

A 6/25/2012 article in the _Sierra Vista Herald_ (AZ) mentions a Ferd
Holtmann that bought a used car.
