I'm not sure that what you did was all that bad, but just
in case it was, I (self-appointed) hereby grant you forgiveness.

Btw, this reminds me of an Ann Landers column
in which a mother wrote about her two little boys
practicing  "Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa." Only their
pronunciation was "Me a Cowboy, Me a Cowboy,
Me a Mexican Cowboy."
