1947 citing in Archie Comic of "butthole." What did it mean?

So now do you think it is any coi<diaeresis>ncidence that the Archie
mini-comics were combined with Blony Bubble Gum from 1957-1958? <<<Blony>>
could only mean <<<blow New York>>>. How did THAT get by the censors? Not
very subtle if you ask me.
