another -ista coinage

Krugman does not necessarily use -ista  to demean.

Here he opposes "inflationistas" (those who worry about inflation) with "deflationistas" who worry about deflation. He considers himself a deflationista.

Perhaps Larry's on to something about with point about trendiness. Anyway, it's clear that Krugman is an -istaista
