It may be a flash in the pan, now that a Romney spokesperson has appeared
on CNN to say that the figures are real but the uptick will be followed by
a downturn soon.
Jack Welch has also appeared, saying essentially that his Tweet was to
raise the possibility, not to proclaim his actual opinion.
