Thanks, arnold. I know datura - and only that (at the time, I didn't
even know that it was the same as jimson weed) - from back in the day,
when I used to work in a plant-biology research lab that specialized
in Solanaceae, primarily various species of tobacco. The head of the
lab was Barry Commoner

who was woking on genetics. Unfortunately, he thought that RNA was the
key. So, he decided not to waste much research on DNA. And there went
his chance to discover the double helix. Woe worth the day!
