Not my own preferred usage for either one, but I hear "wicked" and
"wicked good" as swappable. "This is wicked!" --or "X is wicked!" more
generally-- are standard expressions both on North Shore and Merrimack
Valley stretch (Salem, Peabody, Haverill, Lowell, etc.) and South Shore
(Quincy to Scituate, possibly wider). At least, that's what interactions
with "townies" tell me, although most of my regular contacts are
transplants into the area and are thus useless for this purpose (which
is representative of near-West suburbia--the 495 belt is somewhat more
"native"). My dialectology skills are nonexistent, so this is simply a
collection of observations.
