In a report on Senate races, about the Wisconsin contest (Tammy
Baldwin, Dem., vs. Tommy Thompson, Rep.), I read:

"The Marquette poll's swing is pretty steep (and also shows President
Obama leading Mitt Romney by a whopping 14 points),  but even if the
race is closer than it [the poll, I presume] shows, it's clear the
contest has tightened."

Oh well -- with a Tammy/Tommy context, it's not surprising that Chris
Cillizza of the Washington Post is confused.
