"Icebox" survives in "icebox cookies". There might be some similar
culinary terminology for other items, but I don't recall any. You still
hear it occasionally on some cooking shows (PBS from the 1990s or
thereabouts--I haven't seen the more recent ones, except for some
"reality shows" and those /don't/ use the term)
