The Filipino MILF has been around longer, formally established in 1984:

Post, 8 Sep 1986, A16: "'The MILF is trying to get attention because they
were not included in the peace talks between Misuari and [President] Aquino
in Jolo,' said [Col. Raul] Aquino."

I'll say.  Also possible lawsuits, seeing as how "our" MILF were already
established back in the 20th century while these upstart Moro Islamic
Liberation Front folks are apparently MILFs-come-lately.  A case for the
International Court of Justice!
