Also Ty Detmer from BYU and on a higher plane (of pro football, not necessarily holiness) Jim McMahon.  And earlier such professional backups as Gifford Nielsen and Marc Wilson at BYU and Scott Mitchell at Utah.   None of the notable pros from this group--in particular McMahon or, as Alice notes, Young or Smith--were known for wearing their religion (if any) on their sleeves, or knees. But I believe Steve Young, who attended Greenwich High here in Connecticut, is a lineal descendant of Brigham.  (Along with many others, to be sure.)
