No more the "awe" sound in USA

And so it has come to pass that we are being taught (tot) to awe-drop as the standard for US accent.  The sound "awe" exists no more.

In the link below Rachel mispronounces the words "jaw" and "coffee" for USA accent by using "ah" instead of "awe".  She is an awe-dropper, a huge trend in USA, which I oppose.
