Joel, I don't find *any* part of the book "disreputable" in any
academically-relevant sense, or in any other sense, for that matter.
I apologize for having inadvertently given the impression that I have
some substantive criticism of this book that needs to be given
consideration by those learned in the field. I don't have any such
criticism.
