1954 _Daily Princetonian_ 18 Nov. 2 (online archives)  Number 5 is an all-American, well-scrubbed gentleman jock.  He does not carry the locker-room to the club.  He is seen more often playing lacrosse, squash or hockey than football or basketball. ... Number 6 is an unregenerate jock.  He has a forward passing average of 75 per cent and an IQ of 75.
