1)  Not identified amongst Monk's phobias.  (In fact, such a
symmetric number -- even upside-down! -- ought to be one of his favorites.)

2)   Not in the OED.

3)   Might there be a case of religious discrimination here?  (A
serious question.)  I eagerly await Scalia's (majority?) opinion.
