I don't get it. Lots of smoke & mirrors, and the good ol'
historic-comparative method comes up smelling like a rose. Of course, the
basis of the study was the same data as traditionally collected, i.e. the
AT (or now ATU) corpus, with a few late stray outliers sprinkled in. Basic
conclusion: Ideas just don't spread like DNA. Science is apples, tradition
is oranges.
