Connecting with a dating app

"Q.  I met someone on a dating app recently that I've really connected with."

It's good to be really connected with your dating app.  Otherwise you
won't easily meet people online.

(I would more readily have known what was intended if that useful but
little-known pronoun "whom" -- or even it's contextually-incorrect
sibling "who" -- had been employed.)

Second's second sentence is "Over time we've gone from messages to
Facebook to texting to finally meeting."  Apparently the relationship
has progressed further than in the movie "Her".  (I say "apparently"
because I only know Her from what has been written about it.)
