The advertising copywriters are employing wordplay. The term
"HEPATITIS C" is colored orange in the ad indicating that the drug is
supposed to cure "HEPATITIS C". So the odd sounding diction and
punctuation, in part, is dictated by the desired wordplay, I
conjecture.
