"Warmist" seems to be constructed on the same (rare, I think somebody 
argued earlier) principles as "neatist" -- from an adjective rather 
than a noun and as a characterization of believers (in warming, in 
neatness) by disbelievers (deniers that global warning is 
anthropogenic, deniers that neatness is next to God).
