Hi All,
I recently come across the word "copacetic". English is my second
language. OED does not seem to have much information. Does anyone know
anything about the origin of the word?
Meng
PS. The oed.com entry looks like:
Pronunciation: /kəʊpəˈsɛtɪk/ /-ˈsiːtɪk/
Forms: Also copesetic, etc., kopacetic.
Etymology: Origin unknown.
U.S. slang.
