Times_ 11 Nov. 11 (ProQuest Historical Newspapers)  Also being tried out here for the first time are new portable radio sets, much like the pack sets that announcers for broadcasting companies occasionally use to broadcast sport events.  Some thirty-one of these little short-wave "walkie-talkie" sets, as they are known in the army, are bing used during the present motorized march for communication among the various elements of long motor columns, strung out over miles of road.
