The 5th Annual Workshop on Immigrant Languages in the Americas will take place at UCLA, Los Angeles, October 17-19, 2014. The workshop is sponsored by the National Heritage Language Resource Center.

Call for Papers
We invite abstracts for 20-minute presentations on any aspect of the linguistics of heritage languages in the Americas (e.g., structural, generative, historical, sociolinguistic, or experimental). Abstracts can be a maximum of two pages in length, including diagrams, charts, and references, and should be sent anonymously to Joe Salmons at jsalmons at wisc.edu.

Submission Deadline
30 June, 2014. Decisions on acceptance will be announced in July.
