If you have access to the digital version of DARE, go to the DARE Survey
tab, click the section on houses, and click Question D20. You'll get to
all the responses to the question "Names for a sloping outside cellar door."

Interesting maps for cellar door, hatchway, bulkhead, and cellarway.
Given the contrasts among them, we should probably have included cellar
door as an entry in the print volume.
