I give you the OED's quotation that immediately precedes the 1954
about sneezing:
1928   D. H. Lawrence Lady Chatterley's Lover iii. 32   She still
wanted the physical, sexual thrill she could get with him by her own
activity, his little orgasm being over.

Am I beginning to see a misandrist slant to the OED?
