1956 _Chicago Tribune_ 29 Dec. 3 (ProQuest Historical Newspapers)  A new and third way of producing atomic energy was unfolded to the American Physical society here today.  Known as "cold fusion" and still only a laboratory phenomenon, the new process requires neither uranium not the million degrees of heat used in the other two atomic principles.
