[Ads-l] "sca(l)ffolding"

In her report (last night on the CBS national news) of the window washers' accident at the new World Trade Center, Jericka Duncan repeatedly pronounced "scaffolding" with an [l] between the first vowel and the [f].  An example of post-vocalic [l]-intrusion in a dialect that would ordinarily be "l-less"?
