Sinkholing is in the news: "Sinkhole contains botnet neutralized by 
Microsoft and Kaspersky" (http://bit.ly/1GuFLl3).

Wiktionary (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/sinkhole) has it as a noun: 
"A DNS server that has been configured to hand out non-routeable 
addresses for all domains, so that every computer that uses it will fail 
to get access to the real website" but not as a verb. The Oxford 
Dictionary site does not have this meaning.
