The "new word" is _phisticated_, which gets about 234,000 hits. Back in The
Lou, we had a term, _fisticate with_. Its meaning was, "fiddle with/fuck
with a person or a thing." The UD has a couple of its usual, random,
fake-ish definitions and there's a cite at

from 1629 that's possibly, if not probably, "so fisticating" <
"sophisticating."
