Nice, Bill! Efanzines.com is a real treasure. Note also, that in fannish circles, a zap gun is a water pistol. See, e.g., http://fancyclopedia.org/zap. (Due to the extreme difficulty in finding actual uses, as opposed to mentions, of fanspeak terms, this is not well-documented outside of the various fannish lexicons.)
