No, not the Great Blizzicane of 2015, or some other Great Snow like
that of 1717. Rather,

"The MBTA bears the responsibility (and cost) of snow removal on its
own lines. Every once in a while, it employs
"<http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2011/01/23/mbtas_mattapan_line_relies_on_snowzilla_in_worst_weather/>Snowzilla,"
a 35-year-old jet engine with a powerful, snow-blasting exhaust that
consumes 900 gallons of fuel per trip, to clear the Mattapan line's tracks."

The link is to another Boston.com article, from the Boston Globe of
Jan. 23, 2011, titled "Snowzilla vs. winter's fury /
T's Mattapan line relies on giant in worst weather."
