NPR used this word in a story last night. My online OED is temporarily
inaccessible, so I haven't checked it. Tough.

GB has French cites back to 1977, but English only from 1995.

The NPR journalist pronounced it in thoroughly anglicized fashion, rather
like "millionaire."
