A highly remunerated CNN anchor explains that, in their investigation of
the background of the Tennessee gunman, "a wrestling coach of him tells
us...."
I saw this very occasionally in freshman themes thirty years ago.
They wouldn't say, "A friend of me," would they?
Or would they?
