In the early '80s, I was finishing up a PhD at UCLA, and I recall banter
among students & staff
about affable, staid Professor Dyck of the Classics Dept. Many wondered
whether he would
change his surname, given its giggle factor. Twenty years later he got
busted & did hard time.
Guess they changed his name to a number. Strange how what's a felony in
California is foreplay in the Caliphate.
