[Ads-l] fines for saying "you guys" to mixed groups?

I remember seeing a tee shirt on a woman at an academic conference many
years ago, back when "you guys" was first being used as a non-gender
specific plural. The shirt read "I AM NOT A GUY." She was right, of course
(at least that is what the available physical evidence suggested). She was
not "a guy" - but she was "one of the guys."
