I've wondered myself about the proposal to venue (if I may verb that) tennis in Dorchester.  Bostonians used to walk over the Neck to Dorchester, but today teenagers are killed riding bicycles.

Evidently they did not employ a certain other definition of 'walkable,' meaning whether or not a proposed area or route is SAFE for walking without a high probability of being mugged.
