The Oxford Dictionary site (http://bit.ly/1LrrB3H) has "have a bun in
the oven" to mean "be pregnant."

The Huffington Post (http://huff.to/1KnqtjP) has an article ("Our
Amazing Journey To Fatherhood. Or, How Can Two Men Procreate?") by Eli
Bendet-Taicher today describing a womb as an oven (sans bun) in a
discussion on mother surrogacy:

-----
The gestational carrier role has no biological relation -- so basically
she doesn't "give away" her child, but she is willing to be "the oven"
and deliver the best gift a person could ever give to another person --
to become a parent when real life circumstances don't allow it.
-----

I suspect this is not nonce usage.
