In my wife's family (and thus in our family; i.e., to our kids) we often used the phrasing 
	Good on you!
Meaning "good job-you did that well".
My wife's maternal grandfather was a Danish immigrant and Idaho farmer; it may have come from him.
I have no idea how common this was elsewhere.
