[Ads-l] "dumpster diver" -- early, but is it an antedating?

Peter seems to be assuming that Google Books's dating here is accurate.  This is sometimes true, but often not, particularly for serial publications such as this one, especially serial publications that have multiple volumes bound together such as this one, and it seems pretty likely to me that the "dumpster diver T-shirts" citation is later than 1985.  I draw different conclusions about dating from the probes and snippets than Peter does.
