[Ads-l] Heard: "I can horseback-ride."

Is "goes horseback riding" a "back-beat" also, to "goes riding horseback"?  Ngram Viewer can't find any "go[es] riding horseback", but I can find a few in Google books (perhaps 10, so apparently never common).
