Encountered while trying to understand an unusual use of "wall" (to come later):

Wall, n.5, one quotation is:

1887   C. A. Moloney Sketch Forestry W. Afr. 322   ‘Wall’ of India (Dolichos Lablab, L.) A climbing perennial largely cultivated in the Tropics for its unpalatable seeds.
