A radio pundit on the Catholic Church hoping that -- or perhaps merely wondering whether -- the decrease in membership in America will be ameliorated by the Pope's visit:  "Many Americans have been disenfranchised with the Catholic Church in recent years."
[Approximate; and I'm not sure whether he used "with" or "by".  Even if he used "by", in the context I don't believe he meant "forced out"; rather, "left voluntarily".]
