Spotlight: Papers Past, New Zealand

Newspapers
Click the Newspapers icon to access more than 130 nineteenth- and twentieth-century titles from New Zealand and the Pacific, in both English and Maori. Search articles by name or keyword, or browse by title, region, or date. Click the title link for information about the newspaper, including region, dates available online, and alternative title(s). 

Magazines and Journals
Click the Magazines and Journals icon to access nineteenth- and early twentieth-century magazines and journals published in New Zealand. Click the title link to learn more about the publication and access search and browse features.

Letters and Diaries
This collection contains full-text manuscripts of the papers of Sir Donald McLean, 1820-1877, described as "the most influential figure in mid-19th-century New Zealand history." More collections will be added in the future.
