I thought that you were saying that people who heard you pronounce it in
Dutch would hear it only as the name of a Dutch town and they wouldn't
realize that you were being euphemistic. Naturally, I presupposed that
_you_ know what "Scheveningen" is. Buut what you meant was that, if you
pronounce it in Dutch, then it loses its value for _you_ as a euphemism.
I ought to have understood that. I beg your pardon.
