[Ads-l] XYZ revived

I recall this acronym for “examiner your zipper” being used in the 1970s to mean “your zipper is open.”

I don’t have any recent memories of this expression, though perhaps it has stayed in circulation.

Wiktionary (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/XYZ <https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/XYZ>) has it but the online Oxford Dictionaries do not.

Yesterday, the The Huffington Post posted an article (http://huff.to/2hqNme7 <http://huff.to/2hqNme7>) claiming that “XYZ” is a teen texting terms that middle-aged parents don’t know or at least need a refresher on.
