Perhaps one could spell thay, thair, thaem in the singular. :-) 

Chinese tā 他 ‘he, she, it (animate), it (inanimate), he (divine)’ is distinguished as 她 ‘she' with the “woman" radical, 牠 ‘it’ with the “animal" radical, 它 ‘it' with the “roof” radical, and 祂 'He' with the “deity" radical.
