I've heard a few TV newscasters and their interviewees pronounce the (nick)name of Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera like "chap" in "chapped lips" or "See you out again soon, old chap."  (Others pronounce it, correctly I think, as in "chop" or "chopped meat.")
