[Ads-l] (On topic?) Donald's gesture while introducing Melania

While introducing his wife Melania to the GOP convention last night, at a time when (I believe) the audience was applauding her, Donald seemed to try to encourage their approval by pointing at her, repeatedly jabbing his right index finger, leftward across his body, towards her midsection.

How do you-all interpret that gesture?
