"No mention of state Senator Ryan C. Fattman -- a Republican -- who got $494,000 added to the [Massachusetts] Senate budget for projects in his district."

Unmentioned in email to fiscal supporters of the Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance, "which swears it is non-partisan" but which did call out four Democratic members of the Great and General Court who "reach[ed] into the cookie jar" -- for much smaller cookies.  Fattman, "a Tea Party favorite, ... gets a 100 percent rating from MassFiscal."  As a Tea Party favorite, Fattman presumably is an advocate of small government, but apparently and eponymically if not epicurically not of small cookies for himself.

Quotes from the Boston Globe, "Capital Source," June 3, B5/2.
